River Tamar is a mere stroll away from your apartment and, from
its banks, you can enjoy views over Plymouth Sound. The sailor
is exceptionally well catered for – Plymouth boasts 5 marinas,
2 yacht clubs, numerous sailing clubs and a new marina is planned
nearby. You could take to the sea in other ways too – fishing,
wind-surfing, scuba diving and water skiing are all available
locally.
Less than half an hour’s drive away is the Dartmoor National
Park with it’s imposing granite Tors, offering wide expanses
of moorland to explore.
